Flores uses some of the best synth sounds I’ve ever heard and writes good songs but again the singing is just flat out bad. I feel like Flores has heard this criticism before and tried to make up for it with this album by using reverb, doing occasional whisper singing and just hiding his voice in the background and it still doesn’t work for me. I really want to like Flores but the voice just kills it.
